Informed by research and a business case development conducted by Community Enterprise in Scotland (CEIS), the board also sought feedback from its stakeholders and community partners to learn more about their needs and gain valuable insights and data to inform the board’s decision making process. The board’s needs assessment and business case research led the board towards a strategic planning process that culminated in a dedicated planning day focused on a new farm project, which is set to revolutionise access to fresh and nutritious food and foster a more sustainable and localised food supply for pantries. TSPN will be able to reduce food miles, elevate the quality of food distributed, and meet its strategic goals for reducing its impact on the environment and improving sustainability.
